WHW day 3.13
Forgot to blog that it was Sir Hugh Munro's 150th birthday on Monday. I wonder if someone has calculated how much tourist money he has raised for Scotland? I raised a glass of malt to him earlier when looking over the map for day 4.
Seems the extra mile on the WHW is so that it doesn't stop on a roundabout in town. Still in planning stage but here is bit from the news:
"Members of Highland Council's Lochaber area committee decided to consult on switching the finishing line of Scotland's premier walking route in Fort William from Nevis Bridge to The Parade, about a mile away".
