It sounds as if you all had a grand time. When I went last year I was very disappointed and did not meet anyone. After wandering around for a couple of hours looking at little that interested me I fled. Instead I spent the weekend cleaning kit and packing for a foray into Wales this week. Dawn.

Good to meet you, but shame that I didn't get to chat (except for saying hello when I accidentally butted into your interview chat-ette with Andy!).

Missed you in the Brecon Beacons Beacons; didn't quite catch up at the OS. Third time lucky?

Good to meet you Duncan, and may I take this opportunity to thank you for your part in getting a ticket to me. I now realise Darren was the 'link man' and you and Lay were also involved in the huge effort that saved me a few notes. I owe you all a beer - thanks.

Ah, so it was you! I didn't realise that. Too many names, and too few brian cells left to remember and link all the names, pseudonyms and blog titles. I'll know for next time.

I still remember, to my shame, trying to figure out who the heck the guy was at the Lakes meet - turned out to be John Hee. But don't tell him that.

Nice to meet if only in passing. A bit strange being able recognise people based only on avatars and blog posts.
