Blue-on-blue contacts needed

Went for a potter around the dunes at Balmedie (maplink) last Friday. It was a lovely evening and gave me an opportunity to try the circular filter with the Canon 40d. And my new HTC Desire smartphone. And give the sofa a chance to regain its shape.

Below: just playing with the new filter and trying not to burn out the camera’s sensor.

Mike had been describing the differences in the dune shapes since “The Planet” was filmed.

No promises, I'm afraid, Ken, but with my Digital Creator course finished, I get a few more weekends and evenings to myself. I've been keeping my wargames blog post updated at the club site:

And if I post more Android stuff here, it'll offset Darren going on and on and on and on and on and on about iStuff. ;-)

I should get some photos of some TGOc folk when I run through to deliver George's resupply pack. Peewiglet, et al.

Good to see you out and about again, Duncan.

That third pic is a cracker.

It's not sharp enough for me, Stef. Difficult for me to judge when angling the camera slightly down to prevent sensor from looking directly at sun. I picked up a Hoya circular polarising filter, so the effects are all natural, apart from some raw balancing.
