Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150

Some photographs taken with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 down at Aberdeen Beach today. I haven’t tweaked these beyond horizon straightening, selective crops and resizing.

Did you spot the photo taken in pinhole camera mode? I can’t see myself using it too often.

Splendid photos. Pinhole = Ferris wheel?

Spot on, Hendrick.

Just played with camera in flat and switched it to Portrait mode. Love the face it automatically turns on facial recognition for the focusing mode. I turned it to the Teachers TV prog on the telly, and it picked out 5, 6, 7 individual faces. Wowser.

very nice pictures indeed (and camera). I have the Lumix LX3 and to be honest I havent played with a tenth of the features on it yet....! (oops)
:)

The LX3 seems a popular choice - well, 66.66recurring% respondents here said they had one (well, you and Martin).
:)

I have been sad and was reading the manual last night, playing with settings and seeing what works and what doesn't in various modes.

fab fab fab - what else can we say? Did you think of trying to sell the pics as postcards via Zazzle? I'm trying that, but obviously need more publicity.

I confess I missed your question about the "pinhole" Duncan, until I was about to send a message of hearty congratulations on your ferris wheel photie, and read through your post again.

Still, I know nothing of photographic terms anyway, so I'll just say what I was going to say in the first place, which was that yon photie would make a fabulous album cover.

(I know I'm showing my age by using the term album, but "CD cover" doesn't have the same effect.)

I'm on the verge of buying this camera myself. I don't think Martin would ever forgive me if I didn't. Your shots look superb.

Just watch the 'noise', Philip. For the price that Play.com are offering, it's a lot of camera for the price of a 'fun' one. Plus it has the ability to record HD video

Overcast just now, and I've (another) busy weekend ahead doing other stuff. So no chance to get out, I'm afraid.
