Contains the most swearing in any dramatic feature film in the English language - ever. So, don’t watch it and then complain that you weren’t warned.
Treated to sneak preview of latest Stirton productions movie "one day removals". I liked it. Sadly i can't see it appearing on banal television. So, if you like stuff you'll never see from the studio system, watch it when you get the chance. Despite the warnings about swearing, it's just like real freaking life. So it is realistic and a dashed good story.

To advertise their latest twice-award-nominated movie “One Day Removals”, Stirton Productions have opened a “cafePress” site. I particularly like the sticker. The ideal gift when you buy the video.
Warning - Material contains strong language and graphic violence. Well, the gift store doesn’t, unless you drink some weird freaking tea out of the mug. Yuck.

Taking it on the chin that this Aberdeen movie slates part of the Central Belt, “One Day Removals” is being shown as part of the Glasgow Film Festival on Friday evening. Yup. Not midweek, but at a proper time.

As mentioned in the past, the film contains an honest amount of swear words. But you’ll hear more on the city streets walking to the movie, but instead of shutting them away they are woven into the script of the labourers.
Just read that Aberdeen film-makers, “Stirton Productions”, latest movie is up for a British Independent Film Award.
“One Day Removals” was recently shown at the Raindance Festival, and was so popular that the web-based showing crashed the server. There is a long list of big names who have won awards in the past, people who have gone on to bigger and better things.
Mike posted that the dvd of Stirton Production's "One Day Removals" is available for sale via the company's website.
I'll declare an interest here, as I gave some advice on the gear worn by the hiker in the film.
Mark posts his report of the premiere of “One Day Removals” down in London. Sorry to see that it is still hit or miss about Englishers accepting legal tender from the other parts of the so-called “United” Kingdom. A shame that trading standards do not seem to be bothered with that aspect. What the heck, in the current economic climate if they want to lose the business, then it is there throat being cut, and serves them right. A “William Wallace” moment? No, I just get fed up with it happening, and never hear of shops up here refusing English notes – we have more sense, obviously.
Oh, and Mike has some photos up too. Fondling a cyberman too.
Good to hear talks about future work coming out of the hard work that the folks at Stirton Productions have been doing.
