Getting on with my life and thinking about things.
With resupply pack collected and extra maps and reading material (hiking book for Dawn; Commando comics for Darren), i leave the pair heading back to the Fife Arms to have a discussion on the route. Long and 'easy' or short and brutal. The terms are relative. If you think it's a long way to the corner shop... oops, that's what i get for listening to H2G2 in the car as i set off for the drive home and the post office tomorrow to return items south. Darren has kindly dropped off some hiking food for me to try. Thanks. Happy trails to all and sundry.

Glad to see Darren and Dawn are doing well.
As for Phil, he looks happy and smiley over what looks to me like a box of cereal.....he ought to get out more!

I can't remember what gear he bought that morning, but the manic grin on his face gives away the joy of new gear purchases.
Aaah! New gear, that explains that look, even Alan is grinning.

WHich reminds me, I've a suprise package to collect from the sorting office tomorrow morning. Either my new Aj' pillow, my things from Sarah/Freezerbagcooking, or new stove from Tinny/MiniBullDesign.
