Model Railway Exhibition 07.1

On at AECC in Aberdeen over Saturday and Sunday. Not just model railway layouts, but lots of small sale engineering projects and tools for same. Also able to pick brains of the exhibitors to help you with your own projects.

We always go to the Model Rail Exhibition in the SECC in February.
It's always a mix of joy, wonder and alarm at both the exhibits and the exhibitors.
I always come back with armfuls of diesel loco books and DVDs of Scotlands bygone railways that I really didn't need.
Magic :o)

It'll be a shame if the Aberdeen one goes. They can't afford the venue, so it won't be in the AECC (if it runs) next year. I got some more Christmas presents there.

Was there with the wargames club, and chatted to the public, meeting some folk, and stole inspiration from the different hobbies represented. I just soooo want a building that'll beltch smoke from the chimney stacks. Without it melting the terrain boards.
