November Snows

The kindly people at the Met Office have a few webcams in Scotland. A great idea, and whoever came up with it should get a pat on the back. There is a light dusting of snow at the Loch Glascarnoch weather station (between Inverness and Ullapool), and the 3pm temperature has dipped to 2.3'c, whilst Glen Ogle had dipped to -0.2'c.

Is it sunny where you are, Frank (in Oz)?

Thanks, Simon. I saw that earlier tonight on OM, and am just adding it to the sidebar.

I've noticed on TV weather that they hardly ever have the arrows for windspeed/direction listed these days.

No ... it's raining ... so no difference ;-)

So, Frank, your not "Frank in Oz", but "Frank in .De"? My bad.

Only a week? I'm looking forward to walking coast to coast again in 2008. I might just steal someone's TGO Challenge route and do it before them. Saves me planning.

Coast to coast? Sound's great.

And yes, only a week! Honestly it will be a 10 day hill walking week - it's quite difficult to complete all munros if you just have one week - well 10 days - a year. And visiting the HIghlands just for a weeking is far to exhausting by all means.
