Ben Star 1.2123
After breakfasting at the Kingshouse, I followed Simon down a busy Glen Etive. I felt proud that my homeland had so much to offer so many.
We followed an allt south and reached the 767m point.
We decided to pitch our tents and then head to Glas Bheinn Mhor. Simon had spotted a good pitch on the map, so we looked for shelter from the bad weather coming from the west too.
Leaving at 3pm, we got to the 997m summit, and were back at the tents shortly after 5pm. A very nice walk.
My 32nd Munro, and Simon's 161st. I recently realised that this was also my first since September last year.
Good lessons in lightening gear from Simon, and I left some spare food and spare 'sticky' gloves in the car. Also in terrain like this, you don't need to carry lots of water.

As you can see, we were reduced to really roughing it.
