First Tai chi lesson

I finished off the work day with a tai chi lesson in the works gym. My first ever, Also the first time in my 10 or so years that i've been go this gym. Time flew by and i enjoyed it. I don't know if i will be able to remember all the stages of the 'form' that we're being taught, but i'm keen to give it a go.

Now back to the mundane matter of replumbing the washing machine and getting the messages.

As an exKarate student .......don't worry about remembering it all straight off. It's your body, not your mind, that is busily taking it all in. And it will come with time.

@john - I think too much. I found the breathing exercise "scoop up the air, and breath in, and down, breath out" relaxing and just followed what the chap described afterwards.

@Andy - my mind did wander to doing it on top of some rocks or down the beach. "wax on ... wax off" ;-)

@Kristine - my secret Santa gave me a book and dvd. I opened them 2 days ago after deciding to email the chap on the announcement. I have great plans to bounce out of bed tomorrow morning and practice the moves we did - instead of switching to snooze ... again and again.

The mind boggles...

I just go for a stroll around the garden and water the runner-beans. Does it for me!
