WW1 Storm Troopers? Or just the run of the mill Hun? Don't forget to shoot down the Red Baron. Look well painted to me.
I think the middle one is a stormtrooper, and the others are infantry. It's down to the boots. "Jackboots" are for infantry, but the stormtroopers prefered ankle-boots and puttees.
Easy enough to mix-n-match on the tabletop though.
We're using "Wings of War" for WW1 aerial combat. Some of the chaps have the later supplement. It's a card-based game, but we're using the models. I got my left and right muddled up one time, pulled a loop, and forgot that I'd be pointing starboard, and had to play my next card, and flew off the table. Duh!
